At Revrb, our goal is to help people connect, share, and discover content in a safe, respectful, and creative environment. To achieve this, we expect all users to follow these Community Standards. These rules apply to all content you create, share, or interact with on the App, including posts, comments, messages, and profile information.
Failure to follow these Standards may result in removal of content, suspension, or termination of your account under our Terms of Service.
1. Respectful Behaviour
- Treat all users with respect.
- Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, or targeted abuse are strictly prohibited.
- Do not encourage others to harass or harm individuals or groups.
2. Harmful or Illegal Content
You may not post or share content that:
- Promotes or incites violence, terrorism, or criminal activity.
- Contains hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- Contains or promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
- Includes sexual exploitation, pornography, or sexually suggestive content involving minors (zero tolerance).
- Shares illegal or dangerous goods or services.
3. Privacy & Personal Information
- Do not share private information about others without their consent (e.g., addresses, phone numbers, personal documents, or non-consensual intimate imagery).
- Do not use Revrb to stalk, track, or exploit others.
4. Intellectual Property
- Only upload or share content that you own or have the right to use.
- Do not share pirated, counterfeit, or copyright-infringing material.
- Respect trademarks, copyrights, and other IP rights.
5. Misrepresentation & Integrity
- Do not impersonate other people, public figures, or organisations.
- Do not mislead others by providing false, manipulated, or deceptive information.
- Fake accounts, scams, spam, and clickbait are not allowed.
6. Security & Technical Misuse
- Do not upload malware, viruses, or code designed to harm or disrupt the App.
- Do not attempt to hack, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to Revrb or other users’ accounts.
- Do not misuse reporting or complaints systems.
7. Location Features & Safety
- Respect location tagging features responsibly.
- Do not use location to stalk, harass, or endanger others.
- Do not share sensitive location information (such as private residences) without explicit consent.
8. Commercial Activity
- Do not use Revrb for unauthorised commercial purposes (e.g., spam, scams, pyramid schemes).
- Honest promotion of creative content is allowed, but deceptive or fraudulent activity is not.
9. Reporting Categories
To make reporting easier, you can flag content or behaviour under the following categories in the App:
- Inappropriate Content: nudity, sexual content, violence, gore, hate speech, or harassment.
- Dangerous or Illegal Activity: self-harm, drugs, weapons, terrorism, or other illegal acts.
- Privacy Violations: sharing private information or non-consensual imagery.
- Misinformation: fake news, health or political misinformation, scams, or fraud.
- Spam or Misuse: repetitive content, fake accounts, or clickbait.
- Child Safety Concerns: content that exploits or endangers children.
Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and we take appropriate action based on these categories.
10. Enforcement
- Content that violates these Standards may be removed.
- Accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate these Standards may be suspended or terminated.
- We may restrict certain features (such as posting or commenting) if violations occur.
11. Reporting & Appeals
- Users are encouraged to report content or behaviour that violates these Standards using the in-app reporting categories.
- Our moderation team reviews reports and takes appropriate action.
- Where possible, we will notify you of actions taken against your account and give you the opportunity to appeal.
12. Global Application
- Because Revrb is used worldwide, what is considered illegal or harmful may vary by country.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with the laws of your country.
13. Updates to This Policy
We may update these Community Standards from time to time to reflect new risks, laws, or features. Updates take effect once published in the App.
